Keyboard shortcuts are such a simple time saver and an ergonomic perk for your wrist when spending a lot of time on your computer.  Use the following shortcuts and see how easily a friendship emerges with your Alt and Ctrl keys:

Alt + Tab = Cycles you through all open documents/programs

Ctrl + a = Selects absolutely everything in a document

Ctrl + c = Copies whatever you have selected

Ctrl + x = Cuts whatever you have selected

Ctrl + v = Pastes whatever you have on your clipboard

Ctrl + s = Saves your file
